Founding President of Asahi Agency, Yoshizo Nagahama guided the agency for 36 years, building an outstanding record of success in the Japanese market for numerous international clients. Now as the Advisor, he is personally involved in the direction and handling of business on all major clients, and his experience and expertise is seen in Asahi Agency’s teams assigned to service each client.
After completing his B.A. in Economics at Waseda University, Yoshizo Nagahama worked as an Account Executive for Meitsu Advertising in Tokyo and as an Account Supervisor for Meitsu-Dailey in Tokyo. He then helped to establish Asahi Agency to service a gap he saw in the market for a specialist agency supplying the market and communication services required by international businesses to achieve success in the Japanese market.
Keiko Takagi brings diverse international marketing and communication experience to her role of President and Group Account Supervisor at Asahi Agency. The day-to-day face of Asahi Agency for many clients, she has 20 years’ experience in marketing, public relations and branding on both the agency and client side, in industries ranging from fashion to food, and IT to golf. Prior to joining Asahi Agency, she spent 6 years as a Project Manager at IBM, where she was involved in implementing a number of sophisticated IT projects including multimedia projects installations, a telephone booking system for travel tickets, reception systems, and station kiosk systems.
Keiko Takagi holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Tokyo University of Science, and studied Fashion Marketing in Italy. She has extensive experience in the planning and execution of consumer and IT media relations with a special focus on TV, business and women’s magazines.
